The package is designed for offshore operation in a Zone 2 hazardous area. It operates with one compressor running and one on standby, delivering compressed air at 109 SCFM and a discharge pressure of 180 psig. The compressed air then passes through desiccant dryers to produce a dry air flow of 87 SCFM with a dew point of -40°C.

Nitrogen Generation Package (case study)

​Package Name: Membrane Nitrogen (N2) Generation & Booster Package 
Description: Pre-treated air is fed into the membrane to generate nitrogen at 97% purity and approximately 10 barg. The nitrogen is stored in an N₂ receiver for daily operation and maintenance use. An N₂ booster automatically charges nitrogen bottles up to 200 barg.

Using membrane-based nitrogen generation on offshore platforms significantly reduces operating costs, as it eliminates the need for bottle replacement from onshore once the Membrane N₂ Generation Skid is in operation. The membrane elements are maintenance-free, and the skid package is compact, lightweight, and fully automated, with a local PLC control panel and remote monitoring capability.

 Gas Conditioning System Package (case study)

Package Name: Fuel Gas Conditioning System Package
Description: The Fuel Gas Conditioning System Package is designed to treat fuel gas from various sources and achieve the required superheat before being routed to downstream consumers.The skid consists of the following main equipment:

• Electric heaters
• Fuel gas scrubbers
• Hot oil heat exchangers

Fuel gas pressure from different sources is reduced by control valves and preheated before passing through the fuel gas scrubber for filtration. After scrubbing, the gas is heated by an electric superheater during start-up and by hot oil superheaters during normal operation, before being supplied to fuel gas users.

Package Name: Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU)
Description: The Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU) Package is designed for FPSO cargo tank vapor recovery during loading and for providing gas blanketing during offloading.The VRU package consists of:

• Electric motors with remotely installed Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Gas compressors
• Shell-and-tube coolers
• Knock-out (K.O.) drums

The package is certified under DNV Class and comes with PED, ATEX, and CE certifications.

Commissioning and Startup Service (case study)

System Name: Crude Oil Heating System on Central Production Platform (CPP) 
System and Service Description: The Crude Oil Heating System installed on the CPP consists of:

• Waste Heat Recovery Units (WHRUs) coupled with existing Gas Turbine Generators (GTGs)
• Heating medium (HM) circulation pumps
• HM expansion vessel
• Air cooler
• Shell-and-tube heat exchangers
• PLC-based control system

Commissioning and start-up were conducted within a limited time window during a production shutdown. The process was carefully planned and executed in line with the Commissioning and Start-up Procedure. System control functions and shutdown sequences were tested point by point before the overall system was put into operation, with all results recorded and acknowledged by stakeholders during test witnessing.

The heating medium was raised to approximately 200 °C before being used to heat crude oil in the production process, with temperature control tightly maintained to prevent coking in the WHRUs. Commissioning and start-up were successfully completed within the required timeframe.
